2023 will be year for APC again – Senate President tells Tinubu

The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, on Wednesday, expressed optimism that 2023 will again be a year for the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Lawan expressed confidence that the APC will emerge victorious in the 2023 general elections slated for February.

The Senate President disclosed this while receiving an APC Presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu in Abuja.

Tinubu had visited the APC Senate Caucus to seek their support for his Presidential ambition.

Speaking, Lawan said: “2023, Your Excellency, by the Grace of God, will be a year for APC in Nigeria again.”

The Senate President commended the APC National Leader for recognizing the party’s Senate Caucus as a critical stakeholder of the party.

Tinubu had earlier disclosed that he would step into Buhari’s shoes if elected as President in 2023.

He assured that he would not step on the toes of Buhari, but would continue where he stopped.
