Incumbent Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has emerged winner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primaries in the state.

He garnered 663 of the 668 votes, with five of the votes declared void in the primaries conducted on Wednesday in the State capital,Yola.

The Adamawa Governor and his Deputy, Serth Crowder, were sworn in for their first term on May 29 2019.
