Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has paid a condolence visit to the family of Late High Chief Sunny Nwakodo at Umuana Ndume, Umuahia North Local Government Area of the state.

The Speaker while condoling with the family encouraged them not to dwell in their grief but that they should be consoled by the fact that their father, even though he died in his prime, lived a good life that positively impacted his people.

He also admonished them to ensure that they live by the integrity their father bequeathed to them, follow his legacies and live in absolute peace.

He prayed for the repose of the soul of High Chief Nwakodo and promised to support the family during the burial.

Responding, the son of the deceased, Mr Kelechi Nwakodo, thanked the Speaker for coming to commiserate with them in their time of grief and prayed that God will continue to bless him.

The Speaker had earlier signed the condolence register.
