A passionate appeal to the outgoing Governor of Abia State Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu to put smiles back on Abia workers after leading the state for eight years.

Miss Augustina Amarachi Odor, Secretary General of South East Young Leaders Consultative Forum called on Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu to listen to the cry of Abia State workers and pay them all that is due to them.

She appeal to the Governor to uphold the agreement made with the NLC Abia State chapter based on non-payment of salaries, pensions, leave allowances, and minimum wage.

The Union insisted that State Government should uphold the agreement to end the strike.

His Excellency Sir kindly use these last days in office as Governor to put a great smile on the faces of Abia Workers.
