The leadership of Ekweremekwe Political Organization, the political structure of H.E Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, the first runner up in the Abia People’s Democratic Party (PDP) primaries, on Monday met with the party’s gubernatorial flag bearer in the state, Prof Uche Ikonne to chart strategies for the guber campaign.

The Administrator of the Organization Hon Okechi Utah who spoke to Ikoro News after a closed door meeting with Prof Ikonne at his residence in Umuahia, disclosed that they were there to discuss areas they can collaborate going into the 2023 guber campaign in the state.

Hon Utah who was accompanied by another strong member of the Ekweremekwe Political Organization, Hon. Orlando Okparaocha also stated that they have identified areas of common interests and would come up with strategies going into the campaign season.

Prof Uche Ikonne on his part, appreciated the leadership of the Ekweremekwe Political Organization as well as their principal Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu) for accepting to work with him and the PDP.
