As activities move into top gear for the Nov 2 Local Government Council elections in Abia State, the Federation of Ikwuano Students, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike chapter, FEDIKS MOUAU on Thursday called for a fair, transparent and peaceful electoral process.

“May the best candidate emerge victorious, driven by the people’s will”, the students body stated in a release signed by its President, Comrade Enyinnaya Evans; it’s Secretary, Comr.Gabriel Chijindu and Public Relations Officer/Director of Information, Comr.okeke Divine

We appeal to the Abia State Government, Abia State House of Assembly and Abia State Electoral Commission (ABSIEC) to ensure a smooth, credible and violence-free election, aligning with the governor’s vision for a new Abia.

We pray for successful elections, reflecting Ikwuano’s values of unity, progress and democracy”, the Students body submitted
