The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly and the Peoples Democratic Party flag bearer for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency at the forthcoming 2023 general elections, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji earlier today inaugurated his Campaign Advisory Council for Ikwuano Local Government Area.
Speaking to the members of the council, the Speaker thanked them for accepting to work for his success.
He said the essence of assembling the advisory council was to think out strategies and map out ideas so his quest to represent the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia at the Federal House of Representatives will come to materialisation.
The Speaker promised to attract more visible and feasible projects to the area stressing that all that matters in the current political sphere of the country is unreserved capacity and resourcefulness.
Afterwards, the Speaker formally inaugurated the campaign advisory council for Ikwuano Local Government Area by administering on them an oath of office.
Earlier in his speech, the Director-General of the Speaker’s campaign council, Pastor Emeka Inyamah congratulated the newly inaugurated members for being part of the team that will usher in fresh breeze into Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency.
He emphasised on the need for them to give in their all so the collective objective of electing the Speaker to the Green Chambers will be achieved.
The chairman of the Speaker’s campaign council for Ikwuano Local Government Areas, Sir Major Emmanuel Akobundu Awa (rtd) thanked the Speaker for finding them worthy to be part of his campaign council. He promised that they will not disappoint nor be found wanting in the task assigned to them by the Speaker.
