Governorship Candidate of All Progressive Congress ( APC) His Excellency High Chief Ikechi Emenike, Ph.D., has unveiled the deputy governorship Candidate of the Party

Rev. Barr(Mrs) Gloria Akara, from Ukwa East LGA has been generally accepted by the party deputize High Chief Ikechi Emenike in the forthcoming general elections.

High Chief Ikechi Emenike vowed for inclusiveness in governance and ranks high in his agenda will provide good governance for Abia State pointed out that his choice of deputy from Ukwa is based on the negligence of the Ukwa people by the Abia state government for so many years. There is no access road in the entire Ukwa land yet more than 60% of resources used by the Abia state government are from Ukwa, he added.

High Chief Ikechi Emenike further stated that he will work closely with his deputy to make sure that Ukwa land is repositioned, as well as every part of Abia State.

That if elected Abia as Governor Abia will regain her lost glory, he concluded.

There’s no going back in Abia’s struggle for Abia redemption.
