The Igbo group and Abia Youths after their Executive Committee Election in Aba during the week, took a tour of Governor Ikpeazu magical achievements laced with foresight, capsulated in abundant Grace, eulogized the quality of work that is built to last and thanked the Governor who the people confessed and appreciated for changing the narrative and for making roads that has been abandoned for 50 years ago in Aba to wear a new look.

Adumbrating to the press, the leader of the group, a young pragmatic PDP stalwart Obinna Ndukwe Ibiam, Special Adviser to the Governor on Agricultural Empowerment Programs recalled that the former Governor Senator T. A Orji was right when he campaigned vigorously and insisted that Only Nwa Aba can fix Aba, expressing that Governor Ikpeazu have made the former Governor proud by justifying the trust and confidence of the people on him in fixing Aba the commercial nerve center of the state and Japan of Africa.

Ibiam made a case for Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and wife Dr Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu, and endorsed them for more future political offices after 2023.

The Youth Leaders described the undiluted loyalty of the duo in their service to humanity and dogged effort to change the narrative of Abia leadership as second to none in the propagation of effective administrative Governance and spread of positive dividend of democracy to the grassroots and called on well-meaning Abians especially UKWA LA NGWA PEOPLE to show appreciation to the Governor by massively propelling the number 1 family of the state to continue serving the state in other political offices in Nigeria.

He called on the people to give maximum support to Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu in changing the economic fortune of Abia with the hope to do more before 2023, the Governor and Wife have all it takes to continue adding value to the lives of the good people of Abia and Ukwa la Ngwa nation in particular.

Hon Obinna Ndukwe Ibiam, Special Adviser to the Governor and the leadership of Concerned Igbo Leaders Forum, congratulated Abians and Nigerians for the celebration of 60 years of Unity, Progress, Productivity with tremendous developments.

They thank Governor Ikpeazu for his numerous achievements in the past 6 years, which includes the Reconstruction and Remodeling of Ariaria International Market and for delivering of over 100 roads and counting, with a robust road maintenance team to maintain the beautiful roads, with different eloquent tangible and intangible developments as a strong and comfortable foundation for the next Governor to continue building on.

Ibiam and the Concerned Igbo Leaders Forum lauded Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu PhD and his Deputy Sir Ude Okochukwu PhD for their giant strides.

The PDP stalwart from Bende LGA, affirmed that despite the National decline of oil output at present, since the second quarter of 2020, Abia economy performed well and better than many states of the nation’s as a result of the unwavering commitment of the Governor and undiluted support of his working Aids.

He called on Abia Youths irrespective of political parties affiliation to leverage on Governor Ikpeazu’s Reinvention of the Industrial Spirit of Abia with the reestablishment of Golden Guinea Brewery, Abia Microfinance Bank, mobilisation of major Road Construction Company Contractors back to work and commissioning of roads all over the 3 geopolitical zones of the state, the ongoing preparation and establishment of cottage Industries in the 17 LGA.

Boost in Made in Abia Products, Abia Automated Industries, on all Leather, Garment and Shoes of every category, Abia Shoes Academy, Social Investment Programs of the Federal Government in the State, Abia Homeland Security, Ministry of Homeland Security, Abia State Ministry of Works, Abia State Road Maintenance Agency, Agricultural Development Programs, Abia Youths Empowerment in Agricultural Program, Ministry of Agriculture, Education for Employment Programs, Ministry of Education, Sports Development and Women Affairs.

Empowerment Programs, Presentation and Passage into Law of different economic impactful Laws in Abia State House Of Assembly that protect Rights and Ease of Doing Business in Abia State, for Domestic Violence and Girl Child from Abuses, Abuse of Human Rights, Child Trafficking, to mention few through the collaboration of the Legislative Arm ably Led by Rt Hon Eng Chinedum Orji with the Executive and Vicar Hope Foundation of the Office of Wife of the Governor Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu PhD, that have built over 150 houses for helpless widows and the homeless in the 3 geopolitical zones of the state, her numerous empowerment programs for the women, Youths, Civil servants and others to become self reliant and useful to their families, to contribute their different quotas in development of Internally Generated Revenue and economy of God’s own State.

Revealing that it is only wicked Abians that discriminates the administration of Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu PhD, his Programs and Policies that is wired towards creating meaningful jobs for the Youths to curb unemployment and poverty.

In a separate remark The Secretary of the Forum and Special Assistant on Youths grassroots mobilisation and security Apostle Emma Eguzikpe, advised Youths not to allow unscrupulous elements who specialize in fermenting chaos and confusion by taking advantage of Youths idleness to lure them into mayhem against the existing peace in the state.

The group expressed thier happiness on the robust brotherly and effective relationship between the Executive and Legislature, led by the Speaker, Rt Hon Eng Chinedum Orji and Indefatigable, active members of Abia State House Of Assembly, for their Swift and timely passage of budgets into Law for the Governor to complete and implement most of his ongoing Youths inclusive Projects, Programs and Policies in 2021 fiscal year to reduce unemployment rate in the state by 30% before the end of 2023.

They applauded Abia Youths for remaining calm and law abiding after expressing their need during this provoking period of hardship which has been hijacked by hoodlums and advice them to be more patient with the federal and state government.

He promised Abia Youths that our Youths friendly and promise keeping Governor despite the effect of covid19 and security challenges will implement all ongoing Youths Empowerment Program and Policies before the end of his tenure.

They appreciated the Governor for his proactive measures in ameliorating the effects of Covid19 and the running of Government efficiently in his efforts to restore the economy of the state, and called on Abians irrespective of political party affiliation to pray and support the administration of Dr and Dr Mrs Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.

The Concerned Igbo Leaders called on Southern Governors to maintain their stand in Devolution of Power, Fiscal Federalism, Resource Control and Nigeria President of Igbo extraction for a better future of Southern Nigeria devoid of Northern oligarchy, Divide and Rule tendencies of the North and prioritize Youths Empowerment Programs to cushion the effect of insecurity and the socioeconomic quagmire rocking the nation with the involvement of Youths in active politics in governance as well as job creation.

The Youths Leaders said that Abia State Governor, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu PhD was the first to involve Youths in active politics and the implementation of Youths Empowerment Programs after the #endsarsprotest, the Governors resolve for Youths inclusiveness in governance, electing of Young Leaders as Executive Chairmen and Deputies, Councillors of different LGA and for the creation of programs and policies for the development of Youths in Abia and Southeast Nigeria.
