AEDC apologises to FCT customers as grid collapses

Abuja Electricity Distribution Company has apologised to customers in its franchise area over the grid collapse, which occurred on Monday.

AEDC’s Chief Marketing Officer, Mr Donald Etim, gave the apology in a statement issued in Abuja on Monday.

He said that there was a general outage across the AEDC network at 10:40 a.m. on Monday due to system collapse which occurred in the national grid.

Appropriate measures are now being taken to restore normal supply as quickly as possible.

We sincerely apologise for the inconveniences,” Etim said.
