Amotekun Combs Forest As 32 Persons Are Kidnapped In Ondo

No fewer than 32 persons have been abducted in Ondo State by Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers.

The 32 victims were reportedly returning from a burial service in Benin City, Edo State over the weekend when the incident happened.

Report has it that the victims were waylaid by the gunmen while travelling in a Coaster bus.

Following the development, officers of the Amotekun Corps, immediately swung into action searching of the Benin-Ifon to Owo forest for the abducted persons.

Commandant of the corps in the state, Adetunji Adeleye,who confirmed the incident,said that the command would do all within its power to rescue the victims.

According to him,the Amotekun Corps and other security agencies,had since started a search and rescue operation so that the victims can regain their freedom.
