APGA Wins Another LGA, Now Leading With Over 36k Votes Soludo (APGA), Uba (APC) and Ozigbo (PDP) Soludo (APGA), Uba (APC) and Ozigbo (PDP).

The All Progressives Grand Alliance has added Orumba North Local Government Area to its victory in the ongoing governorship election.

Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, APGA candidate in the election polled a total of 4,826 votes ahead of Senator Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who secured 2,692 votes and Mr Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who had 1,863 votes.

In all, results of eight LGAs have been announced, all won by candidate of the ruling party in Anambra.

The LGAs where results have been declared at collation centers are Orumba South, Orumba North, Njijoka, Awka South, Onitsha South, Aguata, Anaocha, and Anambra East.

Soludo has a total of 60,988 votes in these eight LGAs, followed by Ozigbo, who has 24,972, leaving a margin of 36,016.

Uba is trailing with 21,505 votes.
