Armed robbers attack company, hold security guards hostage with toy gun

Two suspected armed robbers, Edehikenna Stanley and Segun Tope, have been arrested by the police for allegedly invading Crown Park Company located within the Ota industrial estate in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The two suspects were said to have stolen two heavy industrial batteries, while holding security guards hostage with a toy gun for hours on Saturday.

Ogun State police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the arrest on Sunday, saying the two were nabbed in the act, following a distress call received by the police in Onipanu division at about 3 am.

Oyeyemi explained that the DPO of Onipanu division, CSP Bamidele Ojo, after receiving the distress call, quickly mobilised his men and moved to the scene.
