Gunmen suspected to be bandits, on Thursday, stormed three villages in Kaduna community, killed 20 people and abducted 25 women.
A resident in the area, Alhaji Ibrahim Mustapha,had on Friday, said that the bandits invaded the community around 2pm, shooting sporadically, before whisking away their victims
According to him, the bandits numbering over 19, stormed the communities in a commando style shooting, leaving villagers in tension,as several houses were set ablaze.
Efforts made to contact the Kaduna State Public Relations Officer, DSP Mohammed Jalige ,proved abortive as he was unable to pick his calls for confirmation of the incident.
