Barrister K.C Ugboajah Declares for Senate at his Country Home Ariam Elu Elu , Ikwuano LGA.Abia State.

The former Commissioner for Works in Abuja State, Chief Barrister K. C. Ugboajah has declared his intention to contest under the All Progressives Congress (APC) to represent the people of Abia Central Senatorial Seat in the 2023 election.

He made the declaration at an enlarged APC meeting held in his country home, Ariam Elu Elu, Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia, on Monday.

I humbly present myself and have resolved to contest for senate 2023.

I’m sure to get the ticket and become the candidate to represent Abia Central Senatorial district come 2023.

Chief Ugboajah said that he took the decision after due consultation with the people of his constituency, friends, family, and political associates .

In his remarks He assures party faithful that Chief Donatus Nwakpa led Exco remains the authentic executive recognized by us here in Abia State because there was no recognized congress do so far in Abia State.

Many people have asking me if I will run for the Senate, but I pleaded with them to wait until now we can take over our party and things in APC Abia have return to status Quo that is why I’m ready to buy the form.

We brought Ikechi into this party and ha can not take away the party from the pioneers who mad the foundation.

I want to thank Governor Ikpeazu who stood his ground to micro-zone the senate to Ikwuano because almost 4 Local Governments have gone remaining to Ikwuano and Isiala Ngwa north but due to the fact, his party zone Governorship to Isiala Ngwa North he now micro Zone Senate to Ikwuano.

He is asking Senator Nkechi to drop her intention in APC because she has run for 8 years of consecutive 2 terms.

Chief Ugboajah said that his decision to contest for a senate seat is to continue to provide purposeful leadership for the people of his district, Quality dividend of democracy, Senate should not be seen as sabbatical leave for people who can show their scorecards.

My intention to vie for the senatorial seat is to ensure that I will replicate all the good works I did when I was an Executive Chairman of Ikwuano LGA.

I have practiced law for over 37 years with a huge experience in both politics and our people stand better chances of benefiting from me.
