In a landslide victory Chief Sir Samuel Okereke JP, KSC, Retired Military Intelligence Warrant Officer Scores 8 votes ,MWO Johnson Mpama Scores 3 Votes and WO Stanley Uzoagwa Scores 1 Vote.

The Electoral Officer, Mr Emmanuel Ogbuehi from the Office of the Security Adviser to the Executive Governor of Abia State His Excellency Doctor Chioma Alex Otti {OFR}declared Chief Sir Samuel Okereke who scored the highest number of votes as the winner and substantive Chairman of the Nigerian Legion Ikwuano Council.

Also the post of Vice Chairman, WO Stanley Uzoagwa and the post of Treasurer,Sgt Ijeoma Ebule scores as follows.

In his speech Mr Emmanuel Ogbuehi stated that the election was transparent, free and fair because there was no rancour.

He commended Ikwuano Nigerian Legion for been more organized, highly coordinated and regarded as the No 1 Legion In Abia State .
