Col. Austin Akobundu(rtd) Declares for Senate at Osisioma Ngwa LGA.

Austin Akobundu Support campaign team visited Osisioma Ngwa LGA in a bid to consult and make a formal declaration for Senate 2023.

The Campaign Director-General, Pastor Emeka Inyama greeted the PDP Osisioma Ngwa party delegates. He commenced his speech with a story of a religious crisis that caught up with him in the far North, which led to his taking shelter in a mami-market. He was saved by the name of a certain Captain Akobundu who turned out to be the Principal of this campaign. He also identified the strong presence of women among the Ward officers and affirmed his confidence in women and their voting fidelity.

Col Austin Akobundu (rtd) in his speech greeted the party faithful comprised of Ward delegates and LGA executives of Osisioma Wards 1-10.

He narrated his sojourn as a party man recounting his contributions and efforts that resulted in the making of all the delegates and executives here present.

He thus prayed to the house that this was a good time to send him to the Senate to represent them in a Senatorial capacity following the precedence of his previous representation.

He told them that the arrangement was made to see Ikwuano, Umuahia, and Ngwa well represented at all levels.

He stated that the strength of the party was in the ward thus his recognition of all the ward excos.

He assures Quality and effective representation in the senate.

He promised to visit again to the cheer of the crowd.

Hon Eugene Onwukwe, the ward chairman of Ward 7 responded on behalf of the ward chairmen stating that as a party man, before coming to vie for this seat, he had learned the craft before establishing his workshop.

Chief Ihezuoke Ufomba, LGA Party chairman in his response informed the house that his party assignment in the last Osun elections was a credit to Col Austin Akobundu(rtd)

He praised the competence of Akobundu and insisted that Osisioma Ngsa shall stand with him all the way.

The team then moved to the residence of Hon Prince K.O Mgbeahuru for decent reception.
