The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented a certificate of return to Col.Austin Akobundu (rtd), Senator-elect of Abia Central Zone.

Col.Austin Akobundu received their certificates of return on Thursday at the INEC headquarters in Abuja.

On Saturday, the

court of appeal sitting at Lagos affirmed his victory on 25 February 2023.

Col.Akobundu (rtd) Contested the election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
