Three individuals tragically lost their lives in Ogbomoso on Tuesday morning when a container-laden truck lost control and fell on a commercial tricycle at Takie Junction around.

Reports indicated that the truck while navigating a bend, toppled its container, which then crushed the tricycle, commonly known as ‘Keke Mar’wa.’

An eyewitness, who wished to remain anonymous, described the scene, stating that two female passengers and the tricycle rider were trapped beneath the container.

Rescue efforts later confirmed that all three victims had succumbed to their injuries.

Relevant authorities are currently working to remove the container from the road to prevent further accidents and restore traffic flow in the area.

Motorists, however, are advised to exercise caution when approaching the affected section of the road.
