Disbursement of Fertilizers, Free School buses, and other gifts to the Constituency by Hon. Ikwechegh (Onyeocha N’Aba)
The member representing Aba North/ Aba South Federal Constituency Hon. Alex Mascot Ikwechegh. (Onyeocha N’Aba) distributed 600 bags of fertilizers worth over 35 Million nairas to the Indigenous Farmers of his Constituency at All Ngwa Cultural Center Hall situated at Brewery Road by Bata
Speaking at the event while making the presentation of the high-breed fertilizers, Hon. Alex Mascot Ikwechegh advised the farmers to make proper use of the fertilizers to grow food in abundance.
He also used that medium to reel out some of his projects and initiatives scattered all over Aba North and South federal Constituency in just 8 months of his assumption of office which includes, the total reconstruction and refurbishment of Eziama Community School and Riverside Primary Schools 1 and 2.
Provision of 2 coaster buses for free transportation to ndi Aba, provision of 15 brand new transformers that will help bring stable power supply to areas that have been in darkness in Aba, remediation works on dilapidated Roads in Aba North and South, Empowerment programs for the widows and the less privileged, the training and empowerment of 5000 youths in various skills and acquisitions.
The farmers who received the fertilizers expressed their gratitude to Hon. Alex Mascot Ikwechegh for his generosity and support towards agriculture in the constituency. They promised to make good use of the fertilizers to boost their crop yield and contribute to food security in Aba North and South Federal Constituency.
