As early as 6 am this morning, men of the Department of State Security Services have been sighted at the entrance to the Chambers of the Abia State House of Assembly.

The inauguration of the 8th Abia State House of Assembly has been a subject of worry following the failure of the Executive Governor Dr. Alex Otti to Issue a proclamation letter for the House Inauguration yesterday 13th June 2023.

As of last night, the Governor was yet to transmit his letter of proclamation, findings revealed that the Governor is planning to personally read the letter this morning and have the House Inaugurated.

Members elected of the House of Assembly are currently lodged in some Hotels in Umuahia to avoid any story that touches the heart.

It was gathered some of the Lawmakers elect will be arriving at the House from 7 am this morning.
