The aggrieved people of Nnono Oboro in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State,has petitioned the EEDC against the invasion of the community with military .

The Nnono community leadership in their partition states that the onslaught was masterminded by EEDC staffs led by their network manger and military was shouting sporadically as they evade the community.

They also alleged that the EEDC masterminded the invasion to oppress them and disconnect the community from Electricity..

The community equally claimed the military invasion caused mayhem in the community putting fear on old age women and innocent youth.

CDA NEWS reports that the community said the town had been peaceful and called on the federal and state governments to check the activities of EEDC who may cause unrest because they don’t give light and are demanding 180m from the village

The community leaders are calling for a thorough investigation to address the attacked by EEDC and military personal for breach of peace and demand that. perpetrators should be brought to book and light restored without delay
