The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial candidate for Abia State Central Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Emeka Atumahas said that indeed, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will adopt the most mature and credible winning formula in the run-up to the 2023 general elections, slated for the first quarter of next year.

He equally affirmed that as the most popular party on the ballot, that spreads across the length and breadth of the Country, the ruling party has absolutely nothing to fear as far as electoral victory is concerned.

Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma spoke exclusively with the media crew in his Abuja residence while reacting to questions on the preparedness of the ruling APC towards the general elections.

Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma sees the ruling APC as the party to beat in the elections and asked other political parties contesting against it to either throw in the towel and support the Asiwaju/ Shettima Ticket or be prepared to be defeated heavily.

Nigerians, he noted, are yearning for change and they know too well which party to vote for and that party of choice is the ruling APC under whose banner Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu is contesting for President.

He reiterated that Asiwaju will leave no stone unturned to bring a new approach and a much more greater consciousness to the Nigerian people by taking them to the next level.

According to him the permutations regarding the 2023 general elections are clear, noting that the victory belongs wholly to the most formidable party in Africa, the All Progressives Congress, and all the candidates who are contesting under its banner.

He also sounded loud and very optimistic, particularly about his political ambition of representing the very vibrant and politically conscious people of Abia State Central Senatorial District in the Red Chambers of the National Assembly in the next political dispensation.

He said that Ahmed Bola Tinubu is a great Nigerian statesman and patriot who would build the Nigeria of our collective dreams just as he built Lagos State when he was the Governor of the State between 29th May 1999 to 29th May 2007.

He dismissed the ongoing insinuations about the APC’s Muslim Muslim Ticket, adding that Nigerians should just endeavor to leave religion alone in all their political calculations as it is not only fruitless but will also do nobody good.

He noted that in 1993, the late MKO Abiola and Ambassador Babagana Kingibe were both good Muslims who together, contested and won on the same party presidential ticket.

He asked Nigerians to remember that religious matters are personal affairs and should not be brought into the public and social domain.

He said that all over the world, things are positively changing on the political turf and Nigeria should not be different.

Nigeria, he said, is the only Country we have and we should do everything in our power to preserve and protect it.

The Senatorial Candidate who has also served the good people of Abia State in the Federal House of Representatives said that one of the very key ingredients of political success is personal trustworthiness and that is one of the key ingredients that Asiwaju is bringing to the table.

He affirmed that the ruling APC under the control of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu will give Nigerians a new direction adding that while people are making technological progress elsewhere, some Nigerians are still promoting mediocrity and ethnicity.

He noted that the APC advocacy and party manifestoes from his standpoint remain the best for Nigeria.

He urged all and sundry to see the APC ticket as the best option for the Country, adding that the APC Senatorial Candidates across the country have also created a forum for effective communication to help each other generate credible ideas and mechanisms to win the elections across the Country.

He added that there is overwhelming evidence of APC’s victory and looks forward to having a very robust, APC majority-controlled National Assembly to help Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu to quicken the pace of Nigeria’s overall progress.

Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma described himself as a consummate businessman who is into oil and gas and other businesses as well as a good politician who has been doing everything possible to serve his people with dedication.

Adding that he has been serving his people since 2003 when he was first elected into the Federal House of Representatives.

He disclosed that he had worked and chaired so many House Committees about the environment and other matters as well as signed many treaties between Nigeria and other Nations.

Today, he aspires to lead his people in a higher capacity as a Senator. He said that the people of Abia State are tired of bad governance and they are yearning for better and more robust political representation because the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) had failed in all its promises to the people.

He affirmed that under President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, youth empowerment, job creation, employment, agricultural revolution, and infrastructure have been given adequate attention and that Bola Tinubu will improve on all of these economic initiatives and give Nigerians a new lease of life.
