EPL Arteta reveals why Arsenal lost 3-0 to Crystal Palace

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has criticized his side for their poor performance against Crystal Palace on Monday night.

The Gunners saw their top four hopes dashed at Selhurst Park, as they lost 3-0.

Jean-Philippe Mateta and Jordan Ayew scored in the first half, before Wilfred Zaha converted a penalty in the second half.

Well first, congratulations to Palace. We made it impossible for ourselves.

We were really poor, really inconsistent on the ball, we were giving the ball away time after time. At that level, it’s unacceptable.

It’s been a long time because you can accept certain things – individual mistakes, that’s part of football. But when you see the way we didn’t have the presence, the composure and commitment to dominate the situation,” Arteta said after the game.
