The Ala-Ala Oboro Autonomous Community, Ikwuano LGA on Monday conducted elections to elect a New King (Eze) for the vacant thrown

The CDA News reports that the exercise, which took place under stiff security, was rancour-free in the areas monitored.

It took place at Ekebedi Town Hall In Ikwuano LGA.

Ezeji pulled 44 votes to defeat another contestant who was his closest rival, High Chief Ndubuisi Ubani Iteugo, who scored 43 votes respectively.

The Election Committee Chairman, Mr.Eric Mbibi said that 87 delegates took part in the exercise comprised of 17 villages.
