Mr Kabiru Hassan, the Director-General, Gombe, State Geographic Information Systems, GOGIS, says the agency generated over N1.8 billion in revenue in two years.

Report has it that Hassan stated this at the inauguration of the GOGIS service centre on Saturday in Gombe.

Hassan noted that the centre was conceived in 2013 to address the challenges affecting land administration in the state.

GOGIS, through the delivery of its services, has generated about N1.8 billion, contributing significantly to the state’s Internally Generated Revenue.

Other notable achievements include securing digital Certificates of Occupancy, digitising over 22,000 manual land files out of the 27,000 on our record, he said.
