Group writes President Buhari

Sabon Birni Local Government Area elites, under the auspices of Gobir Development Association, has written to President Muhammadu Buhari complaining on the incessant killings of people of the area by terrorists.

The letter written to President Buhari barely 24 hours bandits ambushed a vehicle conveying seasonal migrants at Gidan Bawa village in the Local Government, set the vehicle ablaze and ensure the passengers were burnt to death.

DAILY POST recalls that Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal while condoling the families of the victims said 23 passengers were confirmed dead by the combined security agencies and were buried on Wednesday.

According to the leaders, they “felt vandalised, traumatised and demoralised by the constant butchering” of their people being carried out by the terrorist groups operating in Isa, Sabon Birni and Goronyo, as well as Shinkafi Local Governments in the State.
