He’s really important – Mikel Arteta names player Arsenal need

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has identified Emile Smith Rowe as the player his team needs.

Arteta described Smith Rowe as an important player in the Arsenal squad.

The former Manchester City assistant coach said this during his pre-match press conference ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League tie with Leicester City on Sunday evening.

Smith Rowe has been unlucky in the past few weeks as he missed last weekend’s match at Watford due to COVID-19.

Well, he [Smith Rowe] went through COVID,” Arteta said.

He is feeling good now, he has had a couple of training sessions and hopefully, he can get the rhythm, the consistency and stay out of missing because he’s a really important player for us and we need him,” he added.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are currently in the 4th position on the Premier League table with 48 points from 25 games.
