The Former Lawmaker and Human rights advocate Hon.Jerry Uzosike has commended and Thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinibu (GCFR) on the approved of over 26 Billion Naira for the Construction of Angingali-Udoni-Udona–Umo-Uwana-Ubakala Road.

CDA News reports that Hon.Uzosike expressed his gratitude for what President Tinibu has done for his people.

In his write up reads as follows.

Dear Mr. President,

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to you, Mr. President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Alhaji Bolar Ahmed Tinubu, for once again approving the allocation of over 26 billion naira for the construction of the ANGINGALI_UDOBI-UDONA=UMO-UWANA-UBAKALA Road which passes through my community. This release is the seco and time you are releasing money .

Your commitment to the development of this road holds significant strategic importance, especially considering it serves as a federal interstate road. It is worth noting that my community, Umunwanwa, houses the Anambra-Imo River Basin’s 150,000-hectare agricultural farmland, which was left neglected for many years by the Anambra-Imo River Basin Authority due to the lack of proper road infrastructure.

The land, known for its fertile soil in the southeast region ideal for rice cultivation, fish farming, cassava, and more, as documented by the AIRBDA, has the potential to contribute significantly to food production and enhance food security in Nigeria once the road is completed.

I urge the appointed contractor to uphold the standards that reflect positively on Mr President’s administration by delivering a robust and long-lasting construction. The Community Development Union should continue to collaborate closely with the contractor to oversee the project’s progress.

I wish to also acknowledge the efforts of Umunwanwa Progressive union ably lead by chief Uzosike Horatius Uzochukwu and Ibeneche C Charles (President and Secretary respectively)for all there letters to the Minister, keep shooting from all cylinder till the road is a reality.

A special thanks to the Minister of works H.E Engr David Nweze Umahi who personally visited the road on inspection few months ago and made the presentation to the FEC, We are grateful sir.

We are pleased with the work accomplished by the contractor thus far, and I trust that this new allocation will be utilized effectively on the road and the bridge.

In conclusion, Mr. President, when the construction of the road is successfully completed under your guidance, our community will forever hold you in high esteem as we reflect on our blessings.
