Hon.Paul Ogechi in his massage save our Soul to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the need for urgent attention on the road.

We heard that Hon. Sam Onuigbo attracted the road and over the years the contractor has frankly done nothing but rather damage the road more than it was.

It is quite unfortunate that the Akwa Ibom axis of the road has been given urgent attention and the side of Ikwuano linking to Umuahia, Abia State capital is a menace and major death trap.

He lamented the state of work done by Hartland Construction Company which is very slow on the construction site despite the huge amount of funds from the Federal Government is a total fraud.

The Road has caused a lot of pain and hardship to the local government because due to poor construction and now the rainy season is here now our people are shut down from accessing the state capital.

The former minister of Works and Housing was not fair to our people by awarding this road low a profile nonperforming company called Heartland Construction Company.

I appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to review and reward the Ikot Ekpene-Umuahia road to a company with high-profile delivery
