A PDP Senatorial hopeful for Abia Central Senatorial District, Col. Austin Akobundu Rtd, has assured party delegates in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area of his readiness to give the Senatorial District a quality representation if elected the Senator for Abia Central Senatorial District come 2023.
Col Akobundu who gave the assurance during his consultative meeting with party delegates in Osisioma Ngwa described himself as a true party man who has served the party in different capacities and appealed for their total support.
The immediate past National Organizing Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party noted with delight that the present party delegates emerged under his watch as the immediate past National Organizing Secretary of the PDP while assuring them that he would carry them along if elected.
Addressing Stakeholders of Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area at the Osokwa Osisioma residence of the Chairman of the Stakeholders’ Forum, Prince K.O. Mgbeahuru, Col. Akobundu solicited the support of the Osisioma Ngwa Stakeholders describing the Osisioma Ngwa Local Government as very strategic in the politics of state.
Also speaking, the Director General of Col. Austin Akobundu Campaign Council, Pastor Emeka Inyama and the Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Coordinator of the Campaign Council, Chief Dan Onwutuebe described Col. Akobundu as a man of his words, a true democrat and a man endowed with wisdom and humility while appealing for the total support of Osisioma Ngwa Stakeholders and delegates to the realization of the Senatorial ambition of Col. Akobundu.
In their different responses, the Chairman, Osisioma Ngwa Stakeholders’ Forum Prince K.O. Mgbeahuru, the Leader, Osisioma Ngwa Legislative Council, Hon. Wisdom Chinyere, the PDP Chairman of Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area, Chief Ihezuoke Ufomba, Chief Nnamdi Amala and PDP Chairman of ward 7, Hon. Eugene Onwukwe, all lauded Col. Akobundu for the numerous roles he played in bringing stability to the PDP assuring him that they will not disappoint him.
In a vote of thanks, a member of the Col. Austin Akobundu Campaign Council and immediate past Executive Chairman of Ikwuano Local Government Area, Ezinne Ngozi Oji thanked the Stakeholders’ Chairman, Prince K.O. Mgbeahuru, the entire Stakeholders and the party delegates for the warm reception accorded the Campaign Council.
