Abia State Governor-Elect, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has committed selflessly and provided the dividends of democracy to the people of Abia state.

Dr. Otti, who emerged winner of the 18 March governorship election, said this on Saturday, 25th March 2023 when he attended the 62nd Diocesan Annual Synod of St. James Methodist Church, Umuda in Isingwu, Umuahia.

His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti while speaking to the enthusiastic congregation who were excited to see him, promised to govern the state with the fear of God and commitment to duty.

According to him, “For me, it’s not just about tenacity and consistency, it’s the grace of God. The first thing Abia State needs is to return it to God so that it can truly be God’s Own State.”

The soul of this state was sold to the Devil and by God’s grace, we shall recover it and set it on the part of Light and prosperity.”
