The LGA Executives of the Igwebuike Youth Initiative paid a solidarity visit to the Honourable Member representing Ikwuano State Constitution, Hon. Stanley Nwabuisi in his home yesterday.

In his speech, the president of the group, Hon. Ikechiukwu Ikechi appreciated God for the victory during the primary elections, stating that “It is evident that the hand of God is with you”.

Speaking further, the president assured the Honorable member, who also doubles as the Grand Commander of the Group Initiative, that the Youth Organization has become the most formidable Group in Ikwuano LGA. He added that every other youth organization has either faded out with events or they have lost touch with the people.

He reiterated that Igwebuike Youth Initiative is more than a Youth Organization, it is a movement. With thousands of members cutting across all the four (4) clans in the LGA, the group has established itself as a powerful force to reckon with.

As a concerned group, one by one, the executives tabled the matter of ongoing projects in each of the clans, bringing the issues of the LGA to the front burner.

In his response, the erudite House Member appreciated the group for their visit, while simultaneously thanking them for tabling salient matters on behalf of the LGA.

He assured them every ongoing project in each of the clans would be completed within the stipulated timeframe.

He also gave his assurances that areas that have not felt his magic touch should be patient, as these projects gulp up resources and time.

The House Member went on to encourage the Youth Group to remain confident as no known group in Ikwuano presently wields the kind of presence and dominance as they do.

After this, the Secretary of the Youth organization, Dr. Ugochukwu Ezeribe gave the vote of thanks and the meeting came to a close.
