Aloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has reacted to remakes by the presidential candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso linking his counterpart from Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi to the Biafra group.
Ejimakor said it’s a plus that Kwankwaso and the camp of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar are linking Obi to IPOB.
In a series of tweets, Ejimakor noted that Nigerians across the country admire Obi.
He pointed out that IPOB members are not the same as the terrorists allegedly linked to Kwankwaso.
Ejimakor maintained that Kwankwaso and Atiku’s camp are validating IPOB by linking the group to Obi.
He tweeted: “Kwankwaso & others linking @PeterObi to IPOB is actually a plus for Obi, because despite its proscription, IPOB is quietly admired across ENTIRE Nigeria by the same millions that are called #Obidient & IPOB is not the same as the terrorists that are related to Kwankwaso. Yes!
With Atiku’s camp (per @renoomokri) instigating the North against Ndigbo & Kwankwaso latching on IPOB as the tar brush, you would think they’re running against Ndigbo & IPOB, not @PeterObi & Tinubu.
Fact: The more they do this, the more they validate the #IPOB & Ndigbo.”
