Labour Party did not sponsor any Senatorial candidate for Abia Central, Says INEC.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has stated that the National Leadership of the Labour Party did not sponsor any Senatorial candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District in Abia State.

According to a letter signed by the Secretary of the Commission, no candidate was submitted for Abia Central Senatorial District by the party.

It will be recalled that Hon Darlington Nwokocha had left the peoples Democratic Party to the labour to contest for the Abia Central Senatorial District in the 2023 general election.
