2. The University of Abuja has rusticated two final-year students for allegedly inciting their colleagues over a recent hike in tuition fees by the management of the institution. The university accused the students, Cyprian Igwe and Olalekan Oladeru, of circulating a WhatsApp group message inviting other students for a meeting over the fee hike.
3. The Plateau State Baptist Conference on Saturday expressed shock over the absence of security personnel in communities that have been attacked and abandoned by the survivors who fled their homes. The conference noted that the poor security situation had encouraged the attackers to return to steal valuables belonging to the survivors who had fled the communities.

The Senate said the extension of time of implementation till December 31, 2023, became necessary to enable seven-nongovernment funding of the budget, which is meanN819 billion in critical infrastructure destroyed by the 2022 flood episode.
