In the quest for 2023 governorship battle Mayor Lucky Igbokwe consult with Umuahia North PDP party Delegates seeking for the support and demand their votes.

He assures the party If he gets the ticket and be elected Umuahia metropolis will be transform to becoming a benefitting capital.

Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu) a frontline gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of the PDP in continuation of his state wide consultation of party leaders and delegates visited the PDP family in Umuahia North LGA.

The governorship aspirant who also hails from the LGA thanked the party leaders and delegates for coming out in their numbers to welcome him and his team.

Mayor Igbokwe while calling on his kinsmen to support his guber ambition assured them that he will transform Umuahia into a befitting state capital.

According to the governorship hopeful, “charity they say begins at home Umuahia is my city and it is shameful that we cannot proudly call it a capital city in comparison with what we have in Abakiliki , Uyo, Port-Harcourt and others”.

He promised to rehabilitate dilipidated infrastructures of the state, complete the new government house,improve the asethetics as well as attract investments into the city which will create jobs for the teeming population.

He assured the party leaders and delegates that with him as the governor,the narrative of the state will change for good.

The PDP delegates and leaders in the LGA while responding, described him as their own and assured him of their support.
