Miss Augustina Odor has tasked Imo state youths with the need to shun violence before, during, and after the forthcoming Governorship elections as the three major political Gladiators are seeking the position.

She spoke with CDA News Online Reporters during our interactive interview on Views about the youth in the state of politics as Imo will have the Guber Election Conducted By November by INEC.

She said the youths remain the nation’s greatest assets, hence the need for them to be involved in the political process positively and eschew thuggery against one another.

According to her, She will continue to initiate programs aimed at reducing violent tendencies, thuggery, Drug abuse, and Prostitution among young people in the build-up as Imo state will be gearing up to conduct the Governorship Election.

She enjoined youths to develop skills and competencies to enable them to contribute their quota to the growth and development of the state and Nation Building.

She appealed to the youth of the Imo state not to allow themselves to be used as tools of violence in the hands of any politician as the state is preparing for the Governorship election and coupling the post-election matters.

I will set up a program that is targeted at reducing violent tendencies among young people and crime in society.

Miss Augustina is imploring all Imo youths to engage in non-violent election campaigns.

She said Imolite will choose among the three major Contestants.

Senator Achonu Nneji (LP)

I will continue to educate and give orientation to enable Imolite to shun violence because of politics.
