NYCN Presents Award of Honour to Abia Speaker

Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji was on Monday presented with an Award of Honour by the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ikwuano Chapter.

Presenting the Award to the Speaker in his office, leader of the delegation, Comrade Chinweuba Anyaragbu said “the Council decided to honour the Speaker with the Award because of his well documented positive relationship with the youths of the State whom he has always generously supported in various ways.

“We also present this Award in recognition of your uplifting and liberating Nigerian youths and for your steadfast commitment in the transformation of our youths in Abia State to be great and be a responsible generation”, he concluded.

Responding, the Speaker thanked the youths for their visit and said “Even though I’m not too eager about Awards, but when they come, they serve as a reminder of one’s modest contributions to the welfare of the people especially the youths, and development of society”, he concluded.
