Ojigbo lauds Abia Governor over Abia”s rank on poverty index

The Secretary-General Abia PDP Campaign Council, Chief Stanley Ojigbo has lauded Abiof a State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu for his impactful leadership that led to Abia ranking the 3rd behind Ondo and Lagos in the list of States with low poverty index.

Chief Stanley Ojigbo, who was speaking on the recent launch of the 2022 Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) Survey by the National Bureau of Statistics which put Abia State at the 3rd in the list of States with low poverty index said the report is a proof of the Governor’s visionary leadership in the State.

cording to him, the report of the National Bureau of Statistics has further vindicated the result oriented administration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, who result-oriented deliberate efforts in rebuilding Abia State in the last 7 years. He noted that the governor has made numerous progress in various facets of the economy and maintained that he was committed to doing more before the administration winds off.

The Secretary-General, Abia PDP Campaign Council used the opportunity to call on the people of Abia to vote PDP in the forthcoming elections and ensure victory for Governor Ikpeazu and other National and State Assembly candidates as well as vote massively to ensure Professor Eleazar Uchenna Ikonne emerges the next Governor of the State.
