The Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege has said Mr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa is the “Juda -Iscariot” of Delta State.
Omo-Agege disclosed this during a remark at the flag off of the APC presidential/governorship campaign held at the Warri Township Stadium,Delta state.
He told the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that the people of Delta State are hospitable.
We don’t tolerate traitors. We don’t like treachery and we don’t like traitors.
He noted that only Juda-Iscariot was the traitor among the twelve disciples Jesus Christ had.
He said Governor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa has engaged in an “ill-fated” adventure to become Vice President.
He further stated that Okowa has refused to commit political suicide like Juda-Iscariot who betrayed Jesus Christ his Master.
Hence,he called on Okowa to step down from the ticket of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The deputy Senate president said that Delta State is supposed to be one of the richest states in the Niger Delta,with its natural endowment especially with the federation account, 13%derivation and others received, there’s nothing to show in commensurate order.
Omo-Agege pointed out that Warri has become the headquarters of Keke capital in Delta State.
He stressed that the people are suffering in the midst of plenty and they want the narrative to change.
