Abia state ADC state Chairman Don Norman Obinna (Agu Ibeku) Lambast Abia Governor Otti yesterday in a radio documentary .

He states clearly that for Four months after its inauguration, Gov. Alex Otti-led government has made a mockery of its pre-election hypes and expectations with a consistent show of gross incompetence and despotism.

Aside from these, it also runs Abia State as the private fiefdom of the governor with information hoarding taking preeminence over accountability and transparency.

Amid these undemocratic spectacles, critics think that bureaucratic boondoggling and misuse of resources are the reasons for the criminal opacity.

However, leaked vouchers from the ministry officials overseeing some of the ongoing works have justified the apprehensions.

For instance, the government repainted a block of duplexes at the commissioners’ quarters with the sum of N35 million each.

In other words, Otti’s government spent N665 million to repaint a quarter comprising 19 blocks of duplexes.

It’s a dent to the Otti-led government that prides itself in phantom sainthood.
