As the 2023 general elections approaches it’s climax, the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP,Ikwuano campaign train visited the people of Umuariaga Awom la Ebo, Oboro Ward 1, today January 23,2023 at the Mbaramukwu Square, Umuariaga.
Chief Clement Onukwue called on the people of Umuaraiga to vote for the People’s Democratic party at the forthcoming general elections .
He urged the people of Umuariaga to continue supporting and vote massively for all PDP candidates during the forthcomimg General election.
Hon Stanley Nwabuisi the PDP state House of Assembly candidate appealed to the people to vote for all candidates of PDP and assures he will do more once reelected back .
He urged the people to understand his plight as a first time member and all difficult he passed through on attracting projects
Hon. Stanley Nwabuisi urged them to vote massively for him and more projects will be attracted as a ranking member of the house.
DG Uche Ndi Abia,Bar, Stanley Ojigbo urged the people to ignore insinuations concerning the party at the state and blamed the APC led federal government for untold hardship and suffering which the people are facing and called them to vote massively for the PDP at the forthcoming election .
In a reaction, the Woman leader of Umuariaga Community,Mrs Rebecca Ikeokwu urged the people to vote massively for the party’s candidate in various positions at the forthcoming general elections.
A community leader Kelvin Oji called the party to ensure that our community is carried along in projects which includes roads, electricity, water and enabling environment for growth and development of the community.
He cautioned the party about their inability to fulfill electoral promises made to the community in the past and demand that our road should be given speed priority.
Oji told the party to change their style but advised them to call on their candidate to be proactive and ensure that those promises are fulfilled and victory for the party is sure .
The Umuariaga Community Development Union (UCDU ) Secretary General Mr Innocent Onumegbu cautioned hammered on negligence and marginalization of the community but urged the party to ensure that the dividends of democracy that rightfully belongs to the people is given them.
Hon.Prince Obinna Okey state commissioner for Intergovernmental Affairs called for Nde Umuariaga to vote massively for PDP because PDP will continue to work for them .He reminded us that he is an In-law from Umuariaga and their son Amb. Chinweuba Anyaragbu also gave the community transformer through Hon .Udo Ibeji also one of the best hospital was built By Senator T A Orji now the complain about road they will see what to do to make sure Umuariaga remains a PDP stronghold.
He assures them it is only PdP party that have what it takes to develop the community and also informed the people that their son Ifeanyi Peter will be the hext councilor to represent the ward at the council in the next dispensation and Jubilation sprang up .
A party stalwart from the community Hon,Okechukwu Nnochiri gave vote of thanks and promised the party that the people will vote massively for PDP at the forthcoming general elections/
