PDP ready to end poverty, insecurity – Segun Oni hits APC

Former Ekiti Governor, Segun Oni, says the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set to salvage Nigeria from the failure of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Oni made the pledge in reaction to the successful conduct of the PDP National Convention.

His statement on Sunday described the emergence of a new National Working Committee (NWC) as a good omen.

Oni assured that PDP will work with Nigerians to help the country “rise like a phoenix from hopelessness, poverty and insecurity”.

We we have learnt from the errors of the past, and we are poised to unleash the limitless potential of our nation”, he said.

Oni hailed PDP leaders, governors, legislators and party faithful for the peaceful conduct of the convention.

The former governor welcomed the incoming National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, other elected executives and urged members to discard differences for additional successes.
