PDP releases schedule of activities for Ward, LGA, State Congresses

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has released its timetable and schedule of activities for the conduct of congresses in Anambra State to elect new Ward, Local Government Area (LGA) and State Executive Committee members.

In a statement by Hon. Umar M. Nature, National organizing Secretary on Saturday, PDP disclosed that sale of forms would commence on Tuesday, February 1 to Friday, February 14, 2022, while the congress to elect Ward Executive and 3 Ad-Hoc delegates is slated for Saturday, February 19, 2022.

The timetable also showed that Ward Congresses Appeals would take place on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, while Saturday, February 26, 2022, is slated for LGA Congress to Elect LGA Executive and National Delegates.

According to the statement, LGA Congress Appeals, if any, is slated for Wednesday, March 2, 2022

The screening exercise for state executive aspirants would take place on Thursday, February 24, 2022. While the screening state executive appeals for those that are dissatisfied with the screening is Saturday, February 26, 2022.

The State Congress to Elect State Executive officers will take place on Saturday, March 5, 2022. And the State Congress Appeals is scheduled for Tuesday, March 08, 2022.

The opposition party urged aspirants to various positions, leaders, critical stakeholders and its teeming members in Anambra State to take note, accordingly.
