The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Mr. Tinubu the winner of the February 25th presidential election amidst protests by opposition parties over the failure of the commissioner to upload results from various polling units across the country on its server in real-time.
The presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar and Mr. Obi have both rejected the result of the election, vowing to challenge it in court.
Mr. Tinubu, however, dismissed calls for cancellation of the February 25th election based on INEC’s failure to upload results on their server.
