The Ondo State Police Command said it has arrested seven suspects for stoning a 35-year-old driver to death on April 10.

The driver, Olorunfemi Tope, was involved in an accident that killed one person and injured others along Ijoka Road in Akure, the state capital.

CDA News recalls that the victim was accused of being a ritual ist (Yahoo boy) following claims of discovery of fetish items in his car.

Police Public Relations Officer, SP Olufunmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, on Monday, confirmed seven people were in custody.
