Police arrest man with 32 litres of petrol concealed in travelling Bag.

The Katsina State Police Command has said it arrested a 37-year-old man, Abdulkareem Muhammed, with 32 litres of petrol in three polythene bags and concealed in a travelling bag.

Spokesman of the command, SP Gambo Isah, made this known to newsmen while parading the suspect at the command headquarters.

He said the suspect was arrested along the Katsina-Jibiya road by officers on patrol.

The suspect from afar seemed to be travelling with clothes in a travelling bag he was carrying, but upon inspection officers discovered three polythene bags containing 32 litres of petrol,” he said.

He further noted that more suspects who took the routes of Katsina-Jibiya road to smuggle petrol to bandits in the forests have been also been arrested and being charged to court.
