President Buhari Makes Last Appointment As He Leaves Office

President Muhammadu Buhari has made what appears to be his last appointment as he prepares to leave office today, Monday.

Report has it that in a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the president appointed Sha’aban Sharada as the first Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out of School Children.

It would be recalled that the President recently assented to the National Commission for Almajiri and Out of School Children Education Bill 2023.

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of the outgoing Member of the House of Representatives for Kano Municipal, Honourable (Dr) Sha’aban Sharada as Executive Secretary, the statement said.

The former lawmaker obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from Bayero University, Kano and a Master of Business Administration from University of Chichester, United Kingdom.
