Preamble
Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses and the event that marked one’s lifetime happens at the set time by God.
Birth;
Hon. Chief Gilbert Emeka Nwaogu was born on Thursday 1st March 1973 to the family of Kate Mazi Gilbert Ukazu Nwaogu of Eziukwu-Okwuta Umudike Autonomous Community Oboro in Ikwuano LGA, Abia state.
He is the last born of the family.
Education;
He Attended Umudike Primary School where he obtained his first School leaving Certificate (FSLC) in 1986. He furthered to Oboro Secondary School and Obtain his West Africa Senior School Certificate in 1993
Hon. Chief Emeka Nwaogu proceeded to Abia State College of Education( Technical) Arochukwu (ASCETA) for National Certificate in Education (NCE) in computer/Political Science in 2011. He gained admission at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike for a Bachelor in Education(B.Ed) in Adult Education/Economics and graduated in 2017.
Business Life;
Hon. Chief Emeka Nwaogu moved to Lagos and started business at Alaba International Market Lagos where he majored in Electrical parts and accessories for several years and gained a wealth of business experience that enabled him to start his own business.
In the year 2000, he decided to come back home to establish other business outfits, one of which is IKEMBA INN, UMUDIKE.
Community and Social Life;
Hon. Chief Emeka Glibert Nwaogu is a very active participant in Community and Social Life and has contributed enormously to the well-being of his community and Abia state.
He served his Community in various capacities.
1. Youth President, Umudike Youth Association(2003-2005)
2. Secretary General, Eziukwu -Okwuta Umudike (2004-2006)
Currently serving as
1. Treasurer, Unudike Community Welfare Association (UCWA) 2004 till date.
2. Village Head, Eziukwu-Okwuta 2015 till date.
At the Local Government Level, he is the Chairman, of the Ikwuano Council of Village Heads, and Chairman Ohaneze Ndigbo Ikwuano Chapter.
Political Life;
Hon.Chief Emeka Glibert Nwaogu a Chieftain and Leader in PDP.
He held various appointments including.
Transition Committee Councilor Ikwuano (2014-2015).
He was elected as a councilor from 2016-2018.
He was appointed as Special Assistant to the Governor from 2020-2021.

Hon. Chief Emeka Gilbert Nwaogu has served selflessly humanity and Organizations that earned him a lot of accolades, awards, and Chieftaincy titles.
One of his prominent and preferred Chieftaincy titles is the IHIE 1 OF UMUDIKE Autonomous Community, Umudike.
Christian Life;
He is a full member of the Methodist Church of Nigeria.
Role Model;
Hon. Chief Emeka Gilbert Nwaogu is a role model to many mainly Young people who aspires to become successful in life.
He is a source of great inspiration for young men to emulate him and achieve success in their various endeavors.

He is happily married to one wife Lolo Amarachi Emeka Gilbert with seven children.
